Check out Beats for Bangladesh

FCP Friend Taz Ahmed launches Beats for Bangladesh: A Benefit Album in Solidarity with the Garment Workers of Rana Plaza.

Imagine you wake up one day to news that low-wage, exploited garment workers are literally burning alive while major US clothing companies watch and do nothing from afar.  With a death toll of over 1,100 and another 2,500 injured…what would you do?

If you are FCP friend and political activist Tanzila “Taz” Ahmed, you do the same thing you always do…run towards the fire.  We’ve known Taz as a fighter for API voter engagement, a powerful artist, and super networker/connector.  She has never shied away from asking tough questions of those in power, and demanding not just answers, but an on-going engagement on the issues that matter.
