As FCP’s Chief Operating Officer, Sarah works with the company’s clients to develop strategies, oversee campaigns, lead coalition communications efforts, and facilitate trainings on communications best practices. She also manages the FCP team and office operations.

Sarah leads FCP’s land and water conservation work, collaborating with clients such as the Conservation Lands Foundation, Resources Legacy Fund, and the California State Parks Foundation. She has developed and managed communications campaigns in response to numerous national monument designations, federal and state legislation, and public land planning processes by federal agencies. This work spans geographies throughout the American West.

Sarah brings an extensive background in political strategy and communications to Full Court Press, having worked for Congressman Jerry McNerney in Washington D.C. as his Communications Director. In this position, she served as an on-the-record spokesperson and senior advisor to the Congressman, working on issues that ranged from economic development to housing policy and veterans’ benefits.

She also managed communications for Congressman McNerney’s reelection campaign in 2010, one of the most hotly contested races in California and the focus of significant national media attention. Prior to joining the Congressman’s staff, Sarah worked for local and federal elected officials throughout the Bay Area.

She is a graduate of Pitzer College in Claremont, California and an alumnus of New Leaders Council, a national program that trains young political entrepreneurs.
